One morning sometime last month I'm on the train headed to work. Im reading this book "Sacred Woman" by Queen Afua (recommended by one of my lovely sister's), I look up for a second to internalize what I've read and I lock eyes with this guy cute guy 🧔🏻😍. I've seen this man a few times before while either waiting for the train or on the train. Anyway he's looking at me but not in a friendly, or flirtatious manner. He looked kinda mad or freaked out by me lol 🤨🤷🏾‍♀️. This man gets gets off the train at the next stop, turns around and looks at me again and goes to a different train car 😂. Im thinking to myself (wth is wrong with that man). Not long after that weird encounter, I see him again while waiting on the platform for our train , but this time he seems different and looks different (more friendly 🙂) he walks over towards me and stands a little close to me. The train comes and he gets on the SAME car with me lol. We made a lot if eye contact the whole train ride until he got off at his stop. One morning last week omw to work I noticed that I didn't see him at the regular train station were I would normally see him 😔. I ended up getting off the train before my usual stop to go get coffee. I took my time getting my coffee and walking back to the train. While waiting for the train again, guess who I see? lol... he was getting off the train to wait for our next train. It was so weird because we were both at a stop were we dont usually don't get off at. Anyway we got on different train cars, but at the next stop he came to my car and stood across from me. Again we made eye contact a few times but he never said anything to me 🙄 This morning I see him 🧔🏻 on the train... of course its the usual lots of eye contact. Today he went a little futher and sat down next to me, but still no words exchanged 🤦🏾‍♀️ Long story short, i get off the train with him to wait for our next train. I build up the courage and said... 💁🏾‍♀️"Hi" , and he smiled and said 💁🏻"Hi" back. Jesus, it was just that simple 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ We had a short, sweet and extremely overdue conversation. Apparently he thought I was a lot younger than what I am 😆 he probably would've never said anything to because he thought he was twice my age (only 3yrs older). Anyway he gave me his number 😏
